Dr Ania Sliwinski is an Australian trained consultant urologist who completed her medical degree at the University of Melbourne. She went on to complete her surgical training across both metropolitan and regional hospitals in Victoria to gain accreditation from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.


She then underwent a further fellowship training concentrating on the management of incontinence, urethral reconstruction and minimally invasive stone surgery. Prior to medical training she completed a Bachelor of Medical Science and was awarded a first class Honours for her research thesis.


Ania has presented research at local and international conferences and was awarded the Alban Gee Award for best presentation at the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ) Conference in 2018. Ania is passionate about training the next generation of surgeons and has been active in workshops and exam preparation for urology trainees. She has also been an instructor at cystoscopy workshops for the Royal Australasian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.


She has professional memberships in the Urology Society of Australia and New Zealand; the American Urological Association, European Association of Urology and the International Urogynaecological Association.
