Mr Nick Russell is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association, and specialises in the treatment of the lower limb, including hip, knee, foot and ankle.
Mr Russell graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours at the University of Adelaide in 2000. After working as a structural engineer in the design of buildings and bridges, he went on to study a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at Flinders University, and quickly discovered the value of engineering principles in orthopaedic surgery. His orthopaedic specialist training was completed in South Australia and Northern Territory with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2014, and he subsequently undertook an advanced fellowship at the world renowned Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh in Scotland.
Mr Russell has worked in Warrnambool and surrounds since 2016, and provides comprehensive treatment of lower limb pathology, including arthritis, sporting injuries, and deformity correction.
Mr Russell's clinical interests include, foot and ankle orthopaedics, hip replacements, knee replacements, knee arthroscopies and ACL reconstructions.
