After undertaking medical school and working as a junior doctor in Western Australia, Dr Rowcroft pursued his general surgical training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in Victoria.
Dr Rowcroft thereafter completed the ANZ Hepato-pancreatico-biliary (HPB) Fellowship program at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and Perth’s Fiona Stanley Hospital.
To further extend his practice Dr Rowcroft then relocated to the United Kingdom for the prestigious Liver Transplant Fellowship at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, before returning to Perth to start consultant practice.
Dr Rowcroft manages all general surgical presentations, and is an expert in managing complex disorders of the liver, pancreas, spleen and biliary tree. In addition he performs gastroscopy, colonoscopy and ERCP.
