Dr Sarah Prunty is a highly skilled, Australian-trained otolaryngology, head and neck surgeon. She is currently practicing at Fiona Stanley Hospital and West Coast ENT.


Her areas of specialisation include:



• head and neck cancer


• locally advanced skin cancers of the head and neck


• reconstructive surgery of the head and neck


• parotid and submandibular gland surgery


• general adult ENT.



• Sarah holds an undergraduate degree with honours from Trinity College Dublin, where she graduated in 2009 with a gold medal. In 2010, Sarah relocated to Australia, embarking on a distinguished career in ENT. She was accepted onto the ENT training program in 2015 and achieved fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2021.


• Sarah has further honed her expertise through two post-training fellowships in head and neck surgical oncology and skull base surgery, the first at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in 2021 and the second under the mentorship of Professor James Paul O’Neill in Beaumont Hospital, Dublin in 2022. During this period, she also had an academic appointment teaching medical students at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. She joined Fiona Stanley Hospital as a consultant in 2023, bringing her extensive experience and dedication to patient care.
