Dr Gayan Padmasekara completed his MBBS at Monash University, Melbourne in 2007. Over the next decade, he completed a Masters of Surgery in Orthopaedics and a Masters of Sports Medicine. Gayan completed his orthopaedic training in Victoria and became a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2019. He then undertook a fellowship in upper limb surgery with the Melbourne Orthopaedic Group.
His special interest is in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the upper limb. He provides a comprehensive upper limb service, treating any shoulder, elbow and wrist condition including upper limb trauma. Gayan is committed to Melbourne's South East, holding appointments at Monash Health and at St John of God Berwick Hospital.
