Dr Emily Prewett is a consultant gastroenterologist who has practiced in Geelong for over 20 years. She trained as a physician and gastroenterologist at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne and then at the Royal Free Hospital in London.
She was a primary instigator in setting up the Liver Clinic which manages viral hepatitis at University Hospital - Geelong. She was also instrumental in commencing the provision of ERCP in Geelong.
Dr Prewett is involved in teaching medical students and resident staff at University Hospital - Geelong and has an appointment as a clinical senior lecturer at Deakin University.
