Mr Ahmed Naqeeb is a specialist general surgeon and has been a partner of Ballarat Surgical Clinic since September 2014.
He has trained in different parts of the world obtaining the following qualifications:
• Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (FRACS)
• Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians (Glasglow)
• Fellow of the International College of Surgeons (USA)
• Fellow of the Arab Board for Medical Specialisation in General Surgery
• Fellow of the Iraqi Board for Medical Specialisation in General Surgery (Iraq)
• Currently, he is a visiting general surgeon at St John of God Ballarat and Berwick Hospitals.
• His expertise includes outstanding high-level skills in:
• breast surgery (benign and malignant diseases)
• endocrine procedures (thyroid, parathyroid and parotid)
• colorectal surgery (open and laparoscopic)
