Dr Simeon Ngweso is an Australian-trained urologist. He began his healthcare career as a clinical pharmacist before undertaking postgraduate medical studies at the University of Notre Dame Australia (Fremantle).

He completed his early medical and surgical training across all major teaching hospitals in Western Australia, before relocating to Victoria to undertake advanced urology training.

Dr Ngweso completed his post-exam Fellowship year at Western Health, with subspecialty training in robotic surgery and laser prostate surgery (holmium laser enucleation of the prostate - HoLEP). He holds a Master of Surgery degree by thesis and is actively involved in teaching medical students and urology trainees.

He currently holds a substantive, public consultant appointment at Monash Health, where he serves as the Prevocational Unit Supervisor.

Dr Ngweso practices across all aspects of general urology, with particular clinical interests and subspecialty training in robotic surgery, complex stone disease including percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) and holmium laser prostate surgery (HoLEP).

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, travel, sports and learning about history.
