Dr Sam Mirzaee is an Australian-trained consultant cardiologist and electrophysiologist with a particular interest in management of arrhythmia, catheter ablation, pacemakers and defibrillators. He boasts an impressive record both as a practicing cardiologist and accomplished academic having completed over 50 manuscript publications, conference abstracts and his PhD in cardiometabolic disease at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.


Sam supplemented his clinical cardiac electrophysiology training with a prestigious NHS fellowship in complex radiofrequency and cryoablation, using 3D mapping and intracardiac echocardiography in addition to conduction system pacing at Morriston Hospital, in The UK. Sam has a wide knowledge base on which to practice, and this is evident in the attention to detail and treatment offered in the most complex of cases. He has expertly identified and managed complex rhythms following variety of diagnostic tools and has been performing electrophysiology study, loop recorders, ablation and cardiac implantable electronic devices.


Sam’s special interest and field of expertise lies in the area of cardiac arrhythmias, inherited cardiac disease, heart failure management, general cardiology and cardiac investigations (echocardiogram, stress testing, multi slice cardiac CT, ambulatory BP and Holter monitoring).
