Dr James Malone is a respiratory physician with a special interest in lung cancer, bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound, asthma, COPD, interstitial lung diseases and lung function testing.


James is the former Director of the Respiratory Unit at University Hospital Geelong; where he continues to do ward service and is involved in the lung cancer service at The Andrew Love Cancer Centre.


He holds positions of Clinical Senior Lecturer at Deakin Medical School and Supervisor of advanced trainees at UHG. James is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians; and a member of the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand.


James accepts referrals for lung function testing on school aged children, in consultation with a respiratory scientist.
