Mr Sam Lindquist

Mr Sam Lindquist has recently opened Bellarine ENT in Swanston Street, central Geelong.

Sam was born and raised in Geelong. He completed his physiotherapy degree at La Trobe University, followed by his medical degree at Sydney University. He spent his junior medical years at the Alfred Hospital and affiliated hospitals in Victoria. He was then accepted into surgical training in ear, nose and throat surgery, working in hospitals throughout Victoria and the North Island of New Zealand.

After obtaining his Surgical Fellowship qualification through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS – OHNS) he pursued further subspecialty fellowship training in rhinology (nose, sinus, skull base surgery and rhinoplasty) at the Royal Victorian Eye & Ear Hospital and Royal Melbourne Hospitals, followed by a Paediatric ENT Surgical Fellowship at the Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH), Melbourne. Sam was then appointed as a consultant ENT surgeon at RCH where he continued to refine his skills as a paediatric ENT surgeon.

Whilst working at RCH, Sam ran a very busy private practice for eighteen months before undertaking the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS) Advanced Surgical Fellowship in Thyroid Surgery and Head & Neck Cancer Surgery at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, United Kingdom. During this time, he performed over 200 thyroid and parathyroid operations and has been involved in the development and implementation of remote access thyroid surgery (TOETVA/TOEPTA) within the UK, along with other pioneering ENT endocrine surgical technology.

Sam and his wife have three children. They have travelled extensively throughout the world and Sam loves engaging in travel discussions. These days, Sam enjoys trail running, ocean swimming and cooking for his family.
