Dr Michael Ledger is an established Orthopaedic Surgeon.


He completed his medicine studies at the University of Western Australia.


Dr Ledger was then accepted into the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA) training program, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2008.


Dr Ledger travelled to Sydney for further AOA accredited subspecialty training in knee and shoulder surgery.


He completed a knee fellowship at Mater Hospital in North Sydney, particularly focusing on arthroscopic surgery and computer navigated knee replacement.


Dr Ledger was then selected as the ‘Prince of Wales Hospital Shoulder and Elbow Fellow’, focusing on arthroscopic reconstructive surgery and joint replacement. He has a keen interest in orthopaedic research and has numerous publications in peer reviewed shoulder and knee journals.
