Foong has done a fellowship in oncoplastic breast surgery at the Edinburgh Breast Unit in 2013, the largest breast cancer unit in the UK. His training in breast surgery was with the oncoplastic approach. This enables Foong, when performing breast surgery, to preserve the aesthetic look of the breast.
