Dr Mandy Lau is a Neurologist and Neurophysiologist who treats patients at St John of God Ballarat Hospital. She has been practicing neurology in Ballarat since 2010.


Dr Lau graduated from the University of Melbourne, and completed her Neurology training at Austin Health, Melbourne and Barwon Health, Geelong; with Fellowship subspecialty training in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Neurophysiology (Nerve Conduction Studies NCS and Electromyography EMG).


Dr Lau provides essential MS care to a large regional community of patients in the Ballarat, Grampians and Wimmera region. She is involved in MS research and works closely with a community MS Nurse, Allied Health providers with interest in MS and local rehabilitation services.


Dr Lau’s area of neurology interests includes Multiple Sclerosis (MS), peripheral nerve problems, nerve conduction studies (NCS) and electromyography (EMG).
