Dr Ferraby Ling is an Australian and Canadian trained orthopaedic surgeon with an advanced sub-specialist fellowship in upper extremity surgery.

He completed his clinical fellowship at the University of Calgary, Canada, under the guidance of world-renowned shoulder surgeon, Dr Ian Lo and elbow surgeon, Dr Kevin Hildebrand. He also spent time with leading shoulder and elbow surgeons in San Diego and New York, USA. His broad experience equips him to offer contemporary arthroscopic (keyhole), arthroplasty (replacement) and reconstructive shoulder and elbow surgery for simple and complex conditions and sports injuries.

His areas of practice also include orthopaedic trauma and fracture care. During his training, Ferraby has worked as an orthopaedic trauma surgeon at The Alfred and Royal Melbourne Hospital.

Ferraby consults privately at Ballarat Shoulder & Elbow Clinic and has an appointment at St John of God Ballarat Hospital, where he participates in the orthopaedic on-call roster. Publicly, he practices at Ballarat Base Hospital and provides a dedicated shoulder and elbow service. His commitment to the region takes him to Horsham fortnightly, where he has mixed public and private appointments at Wimmera Base Hospital, Horsham.
