Dr Brian Lee is a dual qualified Specialist Pain Medicine Physician and Anaesthetist. Having completed his medical degree at Monash University, Melbourne and anaesthetic training in Auckland, New Zealand, Dr Lee then underwent training in pain medicine locally in WA with a focus on interventional procedures. He has demonstrated academic success with the Merit award for his Pain Medicine Fellowship Examination. Following this, he has obtained further training in spinal interventional procedures in Melbourne.
In addition to his association with St John of God Murdoch and Subiaco Hospitals, Dr Lee holds public appointments as a Specialist Pain Physician and Anaesthetist at Royal Perth Hospital. He has a keen interest in education and regularly lectures medical students on pain management at University of Western Australia, where he is a Clinical Senior Lecturer.
Dr Lee treats each patient with compassion and empathy, and extensively utilises interventional pain therapies as a part of a balanced, multifaceted approach to pain management.
