Dr Yee Tung (Eric) Kuo is a Consultant Respiratory and Sleep Disorders Physician who provides both inpatient and outpatient care at St John of God Berwick Hospital, including diagnostic / therapeutic Bronchoscopy and Pleural Effusion management. He is also a member of the St John Of God Berwick Lung Multidisciplinary Team.
Eric graduated from Monash University and trained locally at Monash and Eastern Health hospitals. He completed Clinical Fellowship in Interventional Pulmonology, EBUS Bronchoscopy and Lung Cancer at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital WA. He holds a public appointment at Monash Health. Eric welcomes all respiratory-related referrals.
His special interests are in:
• Abnormal chest imaging, e.g. lung nodules, thoracic lymphadenopathy;
• Suspected Lung Cancer investigations, e.g. bronchoscopy;
• Pleural Medicine;
• Chronic Airway Diseases, e.g. asthma and COPD;
• OSA and Obesity Hypoventilation Syndrome.
