After completing MBBS from Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS), Maharishi Dayanand University, India, Dr Kishore joined training in psychiatry in 2006. In 2009, he completed MD (Psychiatry) from the National Institute of Mental Health of Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore India.


With focus on continuing professional growth, Dr Kishore moved to Melbourne in 2010, to start work with North Western Mental Health, Melbourne Health. In 2014, Dr Kishore completed the relevant examinations to achieve Fellowship of Royal Australian New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP).


Dr Kishore’s collaborative approach is patient-centred with focus on recovery utilising medications and psychological interventions. He provides expertise in comprehensive assessment and management of wide range of psychiatric disorders such as depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, addiction and neurodegenerative disorders/dementia.


Dr Kishore is also pursuing advance certificate training in Old Age Psychiatry/Geriatric Psychiatry, due to his keen interest old age psychiatry.


He also holds a position as Adjunct Senior Lecturer with Monash University, with ongoing commitment toward teaching and training of psychiatry trainees and medical students.


He has been working in both public and private sectors, providing high quality clinical care to psychiatric patients in a holistic manner.
