Dr Shafaet Jamil gained his MBBS at Chittagong University and then in 2010 gained his FRACP. He also has a Diploma of Immunology and Microbiology from the University of Otago, Dunedin.
Shafaet has a public appointment with Latrobe Regional Health. During his training in Melbourne he worked at Casey, Dandenong and Monash Hospitals. His oncology training was based at Frankston, Monash Health and Peter McCallum Cancer Centre.
He accepts referrals for:
• breast cancer
• colorectal cancer
• melanoma
• prostate cancer
• lung cancer
• carcinoma of unknown primary
• GBM/astrocytoma
• ovarian and endometrial investigations of suspected malignant disorders.
• Inpatient care is available for oncology patients experiencing medical issues and patients requiring a general physician.
