Alasdair is a consultant ophthalmologist working at Bunbury and Busselton Eye Specialists. He has worked as an ophthalmologist in the South West region of Western Australia since 2001.


He graduated in Medicine from the University of Western Australia (UWA) Medical School in 1985. After graduation, he worked in Fremantle Hospital and then in general practice in the Pilbara and Kimberley regions until 1994.


Alasdair completed specialist ophthalmology training in Western Australia in 1999. He then went on to complete his fellowship at the St Johns Eye Hospital in Jerusalem where he gained extensive experience in general ophthalmic surgery.


Since 2001, he has worked in South West WA providing general ophthalmology services to patients including surgical glaucoma, medical retina, and cataract and pterygium surgery. Alasdair has also participated in providing an ophthalmology service to the Pilbara and Kimberley regions.


Alasdair enjoys living in the beautiful South West and loves exploring the WA outback on family holidays. In his spare time he is a keen mountain biker, body boarder, kite surfer and bushwalker.
