Mr Peter Honey is a specialist orthopaedic surgeon with substantial expertise in relation to adult and paediatric hand and upper limb surgery, and knee surgery.


After completing his orthopaedic training in Perth in 1989, Mr Honey travelled to the USA to undertake further training in Hand and Microsurgery at the University of South Florida, and in Shoulder and Sports Injury Surgery at Harvard Medical School (Boston). At the Massachusetts General Hospital he worked with team doctors for the Harvard sporting teams, New England Patriots, and the Boston Bruins.


Mr Honey is a past Head of Department at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, and past Chairman of the Western Australian Orthopaedic Association. He has an appointment as Visiting Orthopaedic Surgeon at Princess Margaret Hospital (now Perth Children’s Hospital), specialising in complex upper limb surgery. He also provides orthopaedic services to the Subiaco Football Club, and St John of God Subiaco Hospital.


Mr Honey undertakes the full spectrum of upper limb and knee orthopaedic procedures and has clinical interests in:
