Dr Tanya Ha is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Urology.


She obtained her medical degree at the University of Western Australia before completing her fellowship and a post-fellowship year specialising in upper tract laparoscopy, pelvic oncology and urogynaecology in the United Kingdom.


Dr Ha is the current Head of Department Urology at Royal Perth Hospital, with previous appointments at Fremantle Hospital and Rockingham General Hospital. Dr Ha is actively involved in the teaching of medical students and junior medical staff and is a College supervisor for Urology trainees and International Medical Graduates.


She is actively involved in research and has presented her findings locally and nationally. Dr Ha is a general Urologist who aims to provide a prompt, holistic and compassionate service for all her patients in the areas of:



• the management of haematuria


• stone disease


• urological cancers including kidney, bladder and prostate


• prostate disease


• voiding dysfunction


• overactive bladder
