Dr Kim Heron is a Geelong based breast and endocrine surgeon with expertise in the management of benign and malignant breast and thyroid diseases and common general surgical conditions.
She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at Monash University in 2008 and obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Surgical Anatomy through Melbourne University. After obtaining Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in general surgery, she has undergone further subspecialty training in breast and endocrine surgery through Barwon Health and Eastern Health in Victoria.
She is a consultant surgeon at University Hospital Geelong, St John of God Geelong Hospital and Breast Screen Geelong with a focus on providing comprehensive and compassionate surgical care, and multidisciplinary cancer care.
