Andrew is an Australian trained surgeon. He was born and trained in Melbourne, where he graduated with honours from the University of Melbourne.


He undertook his General Surgical fellowship training through Eastern Health in Melbourne and Westmead Hospital in Sydney, before completing three years of post-fellowship subspecialty Upper GI training through Box Hill Hospital in Melbourne and Fiona Stanley Hospital.


Andrew is an Upper GI and general surgeon with a focus on minimally invasive surgery for cancer of the stomach and oesophagus, as well as hiatus hernia and reflux surgery, gallstone disease and complex abdominal wall hernias.


His post-fellowship training has had a strong focus on complex interventional endoscopy and performs gastroscopy, colonoscopy and ERCP.
