Mr Chatar Goyal is a general orthopaedic surgeon with special interests in:



• lower limb hip and knee replacement surgery


• anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction


• meniscal pathology


• fracture management



• Mr Goyal completed his schooling from the country town of Churchill, in Gippsland. He was the first person from his country school to be awarded the prestigious Melbourne University Rural Medicine Scholarship, and graduated with Honours from Melbourne University in 2003. Mr Goyal completed his orthopaedic training in 2013 and then completed a further fellowship at University Hospital - Geelong in Hip and Knee Arthroplasty in 2014.


• Mr Goyal currently has a senior lecturer position at Deakin University and has a passion for teaching medical students and trainee surgeons. He is accredited with St John of God Geelong Hospital and University Hospital – Geelong.
