I am a Laparoscopic and General Surgeon and senior health care leader; equally passionate about providing safe effective surgical care as well as improving health systems and patient safety across the globe.
Over the past 3 decades, my journey has taken me into operating theatres in NY, Chicago, Victoria, NSW, WA, SA, Delhi, Port Moresby, Dhaka; and executive boardrooms across the world from Chile to Taiwan and everywhere in between.
Now based in Gippsland and the Mornington Peninsula for the last 6 years, I continue to provide safe, quality surgical care to communities closer to their homes — driven by the belief that quality health care is a human right, not a privilege.
I thrive at the intersection of clinical care, governance, and innovation, helping hospitals deliver safer, more efficient, and patient-centred services. My leadership achievements include designing India’s national hospital accreditation system, senior health care leadership positions and mentoring future health care leaders.
