Camdon Fary is an orthopaedic hip and knee surgeon who has a clinical interest in anterior hip replacement, robotic total knee replacement and arthroscopic sports surgery.
Cam completed general orthopaedic training in 2009 and spent two further years abroad in Lyon, France and Oxford, UK sub-specialising in hip and knee surgery. He has a keen interest in the latest medical technologies and clinical research.
Since completing training ten years ago he has observed rapid and significant changes of new technologies. To keep abreast of these changes he is currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Melbourne on robotic surgery, sensor assisted total knee replacement, biometric monitoring and pre-rehabilitation programs to optimise patient outcomes.
He is the AOA Director of Training for Epworth Hospitals, oversees Fellows’ sub-specialty training programs and is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at University of Melbourne.
