I am a general adult psychiatrist with a special interest and expertise in perinatal and reproductive psychiatry. I have a wide range of experience in various adult inpatient and community psychiatry settings in both the public and private sector across rural and metropolitan settings. I have also had the privilege of working as a psychiatrist at the first public Mother-Baby Unit at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital from its inception.
Conditions treated (women aged 25-60):
• complex PTSD
• OCD
• major depression
• generalised anxiety
• pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder
• pregnancy planning: preconception medication and psychiatric care planning
• infertility and reproductive loss
• assessment and management of mental illness in pregnancy and the postpartum period
• perimenopause/menopause related mental illness (including premature and surgical menopause)
