Having done orthopaedic training in Sydney, Dr Etherington went on to do three years of spine fellowship training in London, followed by four years as a consultant.
He has been practicing spine surgery since 1999, working in Melbourne since 2011 and has been with Precision Health since 2018.
Dr Etherington deals with degenerative problems: spinal deformity, tumours, infection, revision surgery, and others, in all regions of the spine - C1 to the pelvis. He works in the public system (Alfred Hospital), as well as with St John of God Berwick Hospital.
In addition to the qualifications below, Dr Etherington holds a MBiomedE.
