Tony is a director and co-founder of Melbourne Urology Centre. He grew up in Kilmore in regional Victoria and continues to provide a visiting service to the local community there.


Tony graduated from Monash Medical School with Honours and was awarded the Queen Victoria Medical Prize. In 2010, as Research Fellow with the Prostate and Breast Cancer Research Program at Monash University, he received the Marshall Prize in surgical training from Monash University/Southern Health for his role in prostate cancer research. In 2013 he was awarded the prestigious prize for best research paper at the Urological Society’s Victorian State Meeting.


Tony provides individualized, patient-focused care with attention to detail and a practical approach.


Specialist interests:



• prostate cancer treatment (MRI-fusion biopsy and robotic prostatectomy)


• kidney stone treatment (laser and ESWL)


• minimally invasive treatment of BPH (including Rezum)


• investigation of haematuria and bladder cancer treatment.
