Dr Manisha Doohan is a highly experienced Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 20 years of experience dedicated to providing exceptional women’s healthcare across all stages of life.
After obtaining her primary medical degree in India, Dr Doohan relocated to the United Kingdom, where she completed her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She subsequently undertook advanced training in Maternal Medicine, focusing on the management of high-risk pregnancies. Dr Doohan is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London (MRCOG).
In 2018, Dr Doohan moved to Perth with her family and has since established herself as a respected leader in women’s health. She worked as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at King Edward Memorial Hospital and previously served as Head of Obstetrics, contributing significantly to the care of women with complex pregnancies.
Dr Doohan has a particular interest in high-risk obstetrics and maternal medicine, providing comprehensive, evidence-based care tailored to each woman's individual circumstances. She is committed to delivering patient-centred care, ensuring women feel informed, supported, and actively involved in decision-making throughout their pregnancy and gynaecological journey.
She provides private obstetric care at St John of God Murdoch Hospital and performs gynaecological surgery at South Perth Hospital.
