Dr Chandrakala Dontham

Dr Chandra Dontham has been a registered medical practitioner since 2003. She completed her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Australia and obtained fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FRANZCOG) in 2014.

Dr Dontham completed post graduate training and most of her specialist training at Westmead Hospital in Sydney. During her specialist training, Dr Dontham worked at Westmead Hospital and Blacktown Hospital, where she gained valuable experience in advanced laparoscopic surgery and pelvic floor surgery. She underwent further training in pelvic floor surgery at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne and has completed a fellowship year in urogynaecology at Mater Private Hospital in Townsville.

With extensive experience in all aspects of women’s health care, Dr Dontham can offer her patients a comprehensive and caring approach to their health concerns.

Dr Dontham is registered with the Medical Board of Australia and she is a member of the Australian Medical Association, RANZCOG, AGES, ASCCP, UGSA and ANZVVS.
