Mr Callan was President of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons from 2009 until 2011. A regular speaker both in Australia and overseas, he also coconvenes the annual Australian Masterclasses in rhinoplasty, facelift and blepharoplasty. With his colleague and friend Dr Steven Liew, Mr Callan has codeveloped Complete Face App, an educational tool for facial injectors used by doctors and nurses worldwide.
