Philip Campbell is a haematologist with a clinical research interest in myeloma, leukaemia and lymphoma. Philip is Head of Clinical haematology and Director of Cancer Services at University Hospital Geelong and a Clinical Associate Professor at Deakin University School of Medicine.


He is a member of the Australasian Leukaemia and Lymphoma Group, a regular author and contributor to Myeloma research review and he has a long history of involvement in investigator –initiated, sponsored and cooperative clinical trials. He is author and co-author of almost 100 publications in peer-review journals and he regularly presents at national and international scientific meeting and conferences. Philip has a strong interest in advancing the cause of regional Haematology through the development of new services and expanding clinical trials access for patients in regional Victoria.


Philip has sat on a number of advisory boards and steering committees overseeing advances in therapy for patients with malignant disorders of the blood. Philip has co-authored a number of pivotal papers in recent years resulting in the accelerated approval and reimbursement of a number of new therapies in myeloma, leukaemia and lymphoma.
