Dr Julian Cooney is a specialist haematologist who treats patients at St John of God Murdoch Hospital.
Dr Cooney graduated from the University of Melbourne. He undertook advanced training in haematology at Royal Perth Hospital in 2002 and soon after received a Fellowship in Bone Marrow Transplantation at Chicago’s Loyola University.
Dr Cooney is the WA State Councillor and Treasurer for the Haematology Society of Australia and New Zealand. He’s also the Chairman of the WA State Medical Advisory Committee for the Leukaemia Foundation.
Dr Cooney has special interests in adult haematology.
