Dr Raymond Borcherds

General Practitioner

Dr Raymond Borcherds is a General Practitioner who treats patients at St John of God Geraldton Hospital.


Dr Borcherds graduated from the University of Cape Town in 1984. Dr Borcherds holds diplomas in anaesthetics, obstetrics and child health he has extensive GP experience in the UK, Canada and Australia, and has been based in Geraldton for 17 years.


Throughout his career Dr Borcherds has held interest in relation to general medicine, obstetrics (now retired), paediatrics, geriatric care, and palliative care. He is also involved as the Regional Medical Educator for WAGPET for the Midwest, caring for the education of the Registrars in the region, and is an examiner for the FRACGP exams for the registrars as well as teaching 6th year medical students in the clinic.
