Dr Bullen completed his medical training through the University of Melbourne in 2011, and surgical training with the Australian Orthopaedic Association and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Following this, he has undertaken two years of sub-specialty training. He holds an upper extremity and hand surgery fellowship from the University of British Columbia, Canada, and an orthopaedic trauma surgical fellowship from Western Health, Melbourne.
Dr Bullen has recently been awarded a PhD in orthopaedic surgery through the University of Melbourne and has a keen interest in research and training. He operates at St John of God Geelong Hospital, and holds public appointments at the University Hospital of Geelong and Western Health, Melbourne.
