St John of God Berwick Hospital welcomes Dr Logan Bittinger. Logan has commenced implanting cardiac rhythm devices at St John of God Berwick and is very happy to discuss rhythm and pacing issues at any time. Dr Logan Bittinger completed his cardiology training at Monash Medical Centre before undertaking specialty training in Cardiac Rhythm Management, cardiac device implantation and catheter ablation of cardiac arrhythmias.
He then spent a year learning complex ablation techniques, particularly for atrial fibrillation, at Canada’s highest volume centre for atrial fibrillation ablation in Victoria, British Columbia. Logan’s recent research has been centered around optimal procedural management, quality assurance, avoidance and management of complications, with particular focus on AF ablation.
