James is an experienced consultant respiratory physician. He is committed to providing holistic and high-quality patient care. He is experienced in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of respiratory conditions. He has an interest in regional healthcare and believes patients shouldn't have to travel to the capital cities for treatment.
Originally from Scotland, he migrated to Australia in 2005, training in Sydney and Brisbane before being awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Respiratory & Sleep Medicine and General & Acute Medicine. He has practiced as a consultant physician in North Queensland for the last 12 years. During this time, he was awarded a Fellowship of both the Edinburgh and Glasgow College of Physicians.
James fell in love with the South-West region several years ago and became determined to relocate and work here. James looks forward to providing healthcare for the local population.
