Dr Tasneem Arsiwalla is an ophthalmic surgeon specialising in comprehensive ophthalmology, cataract, corneal diseases and glaucoma.


Her sub-speciality and fellowship training was completed with dual fellowships in cornea and glaucoma at the Sydney Eye Hospital, and general fellowships at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and Northern Hospital in Melbourne. She received her fellowship from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO).


She graduated top of her class in MBBS earning gold medals, completed her Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Ophthalmology with distinction, and earned a fellowship from the International Council of Ophthalmologists (FICO).


A dedicated researcher, and a research associate at the Save Sight Institute, Dr Arsiwalla has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and contributed to ophthalmology texts. She is an active member of several professional organisations, including the Australian Society of Ophthalmologists (ASO), Australasian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (AUSCRS) and International college of Ophthalmologists (ICO).


Dr Arsiwalla is known for her patient-centred approach, taking time to explain conditions and treatments thoroughly, ensuring good functional outcomes and quality of life for her patients. She currently holds appointments at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and Northern Hospital.
