Dr. Mia Altous is a Respiratory Medicine Consultant works who works at St John of God Ballarat and Manse Medical Ballarat. Previous Respiratory Consultant at King Hussein Cancer Centre. Full time Lecturer & Research assistant at University of Jordan/Faculty of Medicine.


Completed training in Jordan University Hospital, then passed the (HERMES) European Diploma of Adult Respiratory Medicine Amsterdam.


Worked as Respiratory advanced trainee at Royal Adelaide Hospital. Had one year as an ICU registrar, then one-year Respiratory fellow at Monash Medical Centre.


Has clinical interests with Severe Asthma patients, lung cancer and Interventional Pulmonology.


Member of couple of international Respiratory societies including TSANZ, ERS and WABIP.
