Dr Al Wahab is a generalist psychiatrist with a special interest in ADHD, as well as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, Bipolar affective disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, borderline personality disorder and psychotic disorders.
Prior to joining St John of God Health Care, Dr Al Wahab worked at headspace, the Old Age Unit at Latrobe Regional Hospital and Spectrum Service for personality disorder. He also worked in general practice for several years.
Dr Al Wahab sees current inpatients at St John of God Langmore Centre and perform both rTMS and ECT treatments.
He is employed part time at Monash Health as a community psychiatrist and as an adjunct senior lecturer with Monash University.
