Associate Professor Arellano is an infectious diseases physician with over a decade of consultant experience. Originally from Chile, she studied Medicine at the University of Adelaide and underwent advanced training in infectious diseases and microbiology in Perth.
Her areas of interest are tuberculosis, infections in the immunocompromised, resistant organisms, HIV, viral hepatitis, complex UTIs and orthopaedic infections.
She holds a public sessional appointment at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and is an adjunct Associate Professor at Notre Dame University.
Dr Arellano sees private patients at her rooms in Subiaco and consults on private inpatients at St John of God Subiaco Hospital.
