Assoc Professor Gareth Prosser - Orthopaedic Surgeon

Assoc Prof Prosser is an orthopaedic surgeon at St John of God Murdoch Hospital.

He obtained his medical degree in the UK at Manchester University and undertook his surgical training in Birmingham. His orthopaedic training was based at the internationally renowned Royal Orthopaedic Hospital and he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2007. He gained advanced training in hip and knee replacement as the Perth Allograft Fellow and then the Fremantle Arthroplasty Fellow in WA under the supervision of Professor David Wood and Professor Piers Yates.

He specialises in adolescent and young hip problems, arthroplasty, hip replacements and knee replacements.
