Steven Rajcany appointed CEO of St John of God Richmond and Burwood Hospitals
St John of God Health Care is pleased to announce the appointment of Steven as Chief Executive Officer of both Richmond and Burwood Hospitals in New South Wales, following a rigorous and competitive national recruitment process.

For more than sixteen years Steven has held several leadership positions within Ramsay Health Care, and brings with him a wealth of experience as CEO in acute and mental health hospitals.
“Steven is highly regarded by his peers and health care workers, including doctors and most recently he received one of the highest feedback scores from Visiting Medical Officers for his leadership at two hospitals in Wollongong,” St John of God Health Care Group CEO Bryan Pyne said.
Steven said his passion has always been working closely with caregivers and doctors, prioritising culture and the patient experience.
“If you get these elements right the rest of the results will follow,” Steven said.
“I feel honoured to continue this journey of growing medical services, enhancing culture and prioritising both patient and caregivers, ensuring St John of God Health Care continues its stellar reputation.
“Outside of my professional life I enjoy surfing, camping and being a leader of a faith-based club delivering outdoor activities for teenagers in my local community.”
Steven commenced his role on Monday 26 February 2024.
