Community and social outreach

Hawkesbury Community Health Centre is located at Hawkesbury District Health Service and provides community and allied health services for the local community. 

The Hawkesbury District Health Service provides a comprehensive range of community and allied health services for the local community through the Hawkesbury Community Health Centre including:

  • Aboriginal health support

  • allied health - dietetics, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, podiatry and speech pathology

  • child and family health services - school screening, immunisation and early childhood clinics

  • community nursing - dressing and catheter clinics

  • counselling - child, adolescent, adult, chronic and complex, drug and alcohol services

These services are free but are subject to waiting lists.

Our hospital is also the location for various local support groups and outreach services (diabetes education, dental and incontinence services).

Raphael Services

For the first time, women and their partners who are living in the Hawkesbury who are experiencing perinatal depression can access St John of God Health Care's specialist Raphael Services at Hawkesbury District Health Service.
