SOA
St John of God Health Care provides a diverse
range of services within the communities we serve as part of our
ongoing commitment to Social Outreach and Advocacy.
Reaching out to people experiencing disadvantage
to improve health and wellbeing.
Social Outreach and Advocacy services
Drawing on the vision of our founders, the Sisters of St John of
God, Social Outreach and Advocacy services have established a
strong reputation for helping people within their communities. We
are committed to providing care and support to people experiencing
disadvantage throughout Australia, New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific
region in areas where gaps have been identified in service
provisions.
Ongoing budgetary commitments to Social Outreach and Advocacy
mean that we use a set percentage of revenues to provide long-term,
sustainable services where we can make the most difference.
Wherever possible our Social Outreach and Advocacy services are
provided free of charge or at minimal cost to people in
need.
