Melanoma Advisory Service

The Western Australian Kirkbride Melanoma Advisory Service (WAKMAS) provides advice on the management of complex, advanced and metastatic malignant melanoma, a type of skin cancer.

You will receive expert advice on your treatment and prognosis from our highly experienced clinicians and additional support from our nurse coordinator.

You can be referred to the service by your general practitioner or specialist.

We can also arrange a referral to a clinical psychologist, if required.

The service was established in 2000 as a joint initiative between the Western Australian Department of Health and St John of God Subiaco Hospital.
