Sam is a rurally trained doctor who has a passion for improving regional access to women’s health. His gynaecology and obstetrics training has occurred throughout metropolitan and remote Australia with a specific focus on minimally invasive gynaecological surgery and rural and remote health care.

Sam has specifically trained in a large laparoscopic surgical unit that focused on endometriosis surgery, management of large fibroids laparoscopically and hysteroscopic resections. His career aim is to empower patients and allow them to not only experience first class treatment, despite being in a regional setting, but also experience a safe environment free of judgement and social discrimination.

Sam is excited to be part of the St John of God Warrnambool Hospital team and looks forward to welcoming any gynaecological patient within Warrnambool and the surrounding districts. He is also available for phone advice for General Practitioners and is able to see patients at short notice.
