Dr William Ormiston is an interventional radiologist with a public appointment at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and a private appointment at St John of God Subiaco.
   
He completed advanced fellowship training in Interventional Radiology and related imaging at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (New York, USA), Auckland City Hospital, and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.
   
William holds the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR) qualification and has published widely in international journals, presented at national and international meetings, and received competitive research funding.
   
His private practice focuses on minimally invasive, image-guided procedures including Infusaport insertion, removal and revision, Prostate Artery Embolisation (PAE), Uterine Artery Embolisation for fibroids (UAE/UFE), Selective Internal Radiation Therapy (SIRT), varicocele embolisation, Ovarian Vein Embolisation (OVE), Genicular Artery Embolisation (GAE), renal tumour ablation, renal angiomyolipoma embolisation (AML embolisation), and renal access interventions including fistulogram, fistuloplasty and tunnelled dialysis catheter insertion.
